We are Liz and Cliff and very fortunate to live on the Devon Cornwall border in the Upper Tamar Valley just 200 yards from the river.

We are just an ordinary couple, some may say, ‘well past our sell by date’; but we are  passionate about the environment and believe living in harmony with what nature has provided us with is essential.

We have inherited a fantastic world abundant in the most incredible flora and fauna, but only here on a temporary basis; so it is paramount we treat our world with respect and if we can – leave it in a better condition than we found it.

As much as we can we grow and eat herbs all the time and maintain our health with regular tinctures of our favourite herbs.

We will be providing lots of information on Herbs, how to cultivate them, how to cook with them and their historical medicinal value.
